Expected project outcomes:
Clusters of public buildings according to common characteristics important for energy efficiency.
Methodological framework for intelligent data analytics of energy efficiency of public buildings.
Models for predicting energy consumption and energy costs.
Model for assesing financial compensation and long-term financial effects of suggested measures for increasing energy efficiency.
Algorithm for selecting and integrating most successful methods for managing energy efficiency.
Simulation model of supply chain of natural gas with the aim of managing consumption and costs.
Created unique database for intelligent data analytics of energy efficiency – will be available on the web page of the project, and can be used by all researchers and practitioners in this area.
Realization of collaboration with the Environmental Protection and Energy Efficiency Fund, National Energy Efficiency Authority, and other state institutions through knowledge transfer for the purpose of reducing costs of energy and increasing the share of renewable energy resources.
Minimum 20 research papers (10 papers in journals, 10 papers at conferences), and at least two doctoral dissertations.
The project results, such as the methodological framework for intelligent analysis, models, database etc. will be able to be used by decision makers on investment decisions in measures of support for encreasing energy efficiency, policy makers, experts authorized for energy certfication, and managers who plan the supply of natural gas as energy resource. Scientific papers published on the basis of project research will be available to researchers in this area as guidelines for using the suggested methodological framework in other countries, and for further improvements of methods and models.
